Placements

Cheray started her new job at The Community Builders. Cheray is thankful for all the useful information she received from the volunteers and guest speakers. “I learned so much through this program. I now realize the importance of understanding the employer’s point of view among many other things,” she said.

When Guesh (pictured at right) came to Career Collaborative, he was working 60-70 hours a week without benefits. He really wanted ONE full-time job WITH benefits. Guesh is now a full-time Environmental Services Worker at Boston Medical Center. “I finally got the job I was dreaming of getting,” he said.

Lynnere got her target job as a medical assistant.

“Before I came to Career Collaborative, I didn’t have interview skills. I didn’t know how to sell myself,” Jessica (pictured at right) told the class. After a lengthy interview process, Jessica is now a Customer Experience Representative for Comcast.

“My life has changed," Tia (pictured at left) said. It had been a year and a half since Tia has had a full-time job, and now has a new full-time position as a Billing Specialist. Tia’s advice to job seekers is to find the right fit for them. “I found my fit at Riverside Community Care,” she said.
